5th IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical Human Systems (CPHS'24)
5th IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical Human Systems (CPHS'24)
Date: December 12-13, 2024
Location: Antalya, Turkiye
General Chair: Prof. Yildiray Yildiz, Bilkent University
General co-chair: Prof. Necmiye Ozay
We are thrilled to announce the 5th IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical Human Systems (CPHS'24), chaired by Prof. Yildiray Yildiz of Bilkent University. This premier event, scheduled for December 12-13, 2024, in Antalya, Turkiye, will gather leading researchers, industry experts, and practitioners to explore cutting-edge advancements in cyber-physical human systems (CPHS).
Advances in computing, sensing, communication, control, and learning have paved the way for integrating cyber-physical systems with human elements across various domains. As autonomy becomes more pervasive, new theories, models, methods, and algorithms are essential to develop dynamic paradigms for interaction and information exchange between cyber-physical and human components. The aim is to achieve seamless integration that exceeds the capabilities of humans or autonomous systems when functioning independently, thereby unlocking new levels of performance and functionality.
Key Focus Areas:
CPHS'24 will address a broad spectrum of topics, including:
Modeling, analysis, and control of integrated CPHS.
Social and societal impacts of CPHS.
Security, privacy, and ethics in cyber-physical systems.
Human behavior and collaboration between humans and autonomous systems.
Safety-critical and resilient CPHS applications.
Real-world applications in healthcare, transportation, space technology, and smart infrastructure.
Participants will engage in cross-disciplinary discussions to develop new technological solutions, emphasizing human-machine interaction, control theory, autonomous systems, and more. The workshop will focus on innovations that not only enhance individual system components but also create new societal and economic impacts through advanced CPHS.
