BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Levent Subaşı graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2002. He completed his master's and PhD degrees at the same university and department in 2005 and 2022, respectively. His PhD thesis is about modelling and optimization of a manufacturing process in the aerospace domain. He has worked as an engineer and lower level manager in different companies in the industry. During his professional career, he has published several journal and conference papers and granted two patents. He has been working as a Senior Engineer at TEI since 2016. As an expert on manufacturing technologies, he is involved as a process development specialist in different projects for the Aviation and Defense Industry. He also works as a technical instructor within the organization and throughout the defense industry, sharing his knowledge and experience with colleagues. Dr. Subaşı’s personal interests include playing tennis, trekking, woodworking and following science & technology trends.

RESEARCH
Dr. Levent Subaşı currently works on new technology based projects, including advanced manufacturing processes, and conventional / non-conventional machining of aerospace materials, which necessitate using design of experiment, statistical analysis and process modeling methodologies.
